IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON!!
The President shall supervise the SE Trojans and its Officers and see that its obligations are fulfilled. Shall preside at all meetings of the SE Trojans and its Board unless an individual is appointed for such duties. Shall enforce all rules and regulations under which the SE Trojans are to comply with. Shall be responsible for, and perform additional duties as necessary. Will
be the Association representative and also sit on the Board of the SAYFL.
The Vice President shall perform all Presidential duties in the absence of the President. Shall succeed the Presidency in the case of a vacancy of that office. Is responsible for all equipment entrusted to the custody or control of the SE Trojans. The Vice President may delegate equipment management to an Equipment Manager for additional help as needed. Shall be responsible for, and perform additional duties as necessary. The Vice President also works under the sole discretion of the President and may be assigned additional duties.
The Secretary is responsible for all meeting notices and notifying all board members of all meetings. She/he maintains all official board meeting minutes and records, maintains a roster containing the names, addresses and telephone numbers of all board members who are eligible to vote. It is the responsibility of each board member to advise the Secretary of any change in address and telephone number for the purpose of notification. The Secretary shall maintain all official records and other documents related to the operation of the SE Trojans. The Secretary shall carry out such duties as may be directed by the President or the SE Trojans board. The Secretary will make all team books including all necessary paperwork.
The Treasurer shall record any and all receipts to include all individual donations, sponsors, moneys and deposits payable to SE Trojans involving the SE Trojans bank account. The Treasurer will keep accurate books and records of all registration fees, season fees, and any and all other monies coming in or out of the SE Trojans account. She/he shall report all deposits and transactions through the SE Trojans bank account at the monthly meeting. An accurate, detailed financial statement/report is expected at every official meeting that is held. All receipts and vouchers should be kept with the Treasurer’s book keeping. The Treasurer shall render at the end of the SE Trojans accounting year all money transactions. All money transactions must have receipts prepared in triplicate. The Treasurer shall carry out such duties as may be directed by the President or the SE Trojans Board.
The Athletic Director shall supervise the coaches and coaching staff(s) of the SE Trojans to include the Cheer program. Enforce, with the President, the rules and regulations under which the SE Trojans are to comply with. The Athletic Director shall chair the Ethics/Conflict resolution Committee. The Athletic Director will handle all complaints from general members, parents, and players. Should an acceptable outcome not be reached either by the Athletic Director or the injured party, the complaint will be taken to the Ethics/Conflict resolution Committee for review. Any disciplinary action up to and including removal from the SE Trojans will need board approval. The Athletic Director will work with both the Vice President and Sponsor and Community Services Director with equipment and fields
Be responsible for the complete supervision of the cheerleading coaches and squads. Must attend all board meetings or assign a representative to attend in her place. Responsible for ensuring that all Head Coaches are aware of all events, schedule changes, and board meetings. Establish budget for cheer uniforms, placing uniform orders in a timely manner and issuing uniforms. Approval of cheerleading coaches and team moms/parents. Maintain and enforce proper conduct and behavior of coaches and cheerleaders at all events. Investigating and resolving complaints against a cheerleader, cheer coach or other volunteer. Responsible for collecting all monies from cheerleading coaches in regards to accessories, events, etc. Planning and scheduling of all cheerleading events such as cheer camps, opening day dance practices, etc. Works in conjunction with the rest of the Board to coordinate cheerleading registrations. Should attend as many registrations as possible. Responsible managing/organizing the assignment of new cheerleaders to squads.
